When I set the test room options, it only gives me morph ball and bombs, why?

I believe whenever the test room is set up it creates a quickmet.srm file. That file holds all of your config settings. Trying finding that file, than delete it and reset your settings. It should work correctly than.

Ok, I did that but it keeps respawning back to the folder.

It should respawn after you select your settings again. Are you using the snesx9 emulator? I'm not sure how it works with others.
