Nazis committed genocide or systematic killing of human beings, Mesoamerican people did it for religions and was practice both by Tlaxcalans Zapotecans and Totonacs and Mexica in "Mock wars" where the created wars to take warriors for sacrifice. ALso the ball game the winners would be sacrificed.. your argument fails very bad.. do extensive research ;)

@AdrianAnansi Well, of course ritual sacrifice was practiced in other cultures, even in more gruesome ways, but indeed, the combination of everything the Mexicas demanded and the humiliation other states went through was the stone that cracked the pot.

@DerFeindr Ritual sacrifice was practiced all throughout Mesoamerica. All of the groups you named practiced it too and if you actually read the grievances of the other tribes, as recorded in what codices we have, you will see that they were upset about the Mexica's excessive tribute demands, not sacrifice.
