@Argonath18 Not to mention that Tressel hasn't had a losing season with Ohio State. Richie-Rod had losing seasons in 2 of his 3 years at Mishitgan. He racked up as many losses in his 3 years at Mishitgan as Tressel has in his 10 seasons with Ohio State.

UM and OSU are 2 good examples of what to do and what not to do when hiring a head coach. Ohio State stayed with tradition and hired an Ohio man who knows the values and traditions of tOSU and Big Ten football. UM wanted to change everything up and in the process, screwed themselves. How many years does a coach need to rebuild a program? Tressel took 1. The 2nd year, the Bucks won the Nat'l title. UM, after 3 years, just now have their first winning season, barely over .500. Go Bucks!!
