First listening. My favorite tracks are this and Elevation.

Definitely true! Did you ever check out the English band Felt? There's definitely more than a little Television influence there say, for instance, in a song like "Crystal Ball" or "Whirlpool Vision of Shame".

The guitars go so crazy at the end it doesn't sound like guitars anymore.

#3 in the 70's? Only idiots would write that.

I just purchased 2 Rancid(s), Lynyrd Skynyrd (sp?) 'Live at Fillmore East', The Flaming Lips 'Yoshimi...Robots', the Swans 'Soundtrack...Blind', 2 Gayglo Abortions cd's, and like lots of music over the years since the 'British invasion', basically. 1977's good albums: 'The Clash', The b52's', 'Even In The Quietist Moments', 'I Robot', Never Mind The Bollocks, etc. are good albums. I listened to every track on M.M. It doesn't improve with subsequent listenings.

@Stof31 I love it too... but I cant choose a favourite track from such a perfect album. When I first heard the album some 20 years ago, I found this to be my least favourite but my inmature, teenagy ears werent ready for that insane guitar solo... How can anyone come up with that. iTS NOT EARTH MUSIC....
