Robbie (12) Pointe Shoe Fitting Russian Pointes

So about a year and a half ago we posted Robbie's first pointe shoe fitting. She got lucky and really liked the original choice- Grishko Elite. We were in Orange County and decided to stop in Dancer's Choice to see Grace Lee because she is highly recommended and is very good at fitting shoes. Robbie has square toes, wide feet and a short heel. Her new Russian Pointes have a slightly longer vamp than her Grishkos and she switched from the square fat toe spacers to the large, thinner ones. She was starting to get bunions and Grace suggested to change the toe spacers. There was a pair that were so beautiful on her feet and fit her heel better but they slightly hurt on the sides but they looked perfect. However we opted for the more comfortable shoe that still looked very pretty. Pointe shoe shopping is so fun ;) Also we found the one and only koala bear in a tutu key chain. Robbie collects koala's and this is a rare find- trust me!

This is a bit of a stupid question but can you do a piroeutte on a demi pointe? in normal ballet shoes not pointe or demi pointe shoes? i know i spelt piroeutte wrong

any ideas that might help with combination width feet when fitting. If it fits the front part of my foot the heels swim on me. I'm thinking special order but I want to be careful with that because it sounds like it would be a lot more expensive, especially if I buy the wrong ones.

@MegaCupcakesRule you mean you have narrow heel. Robbie is like that but has been okay . She has worn grishko elite, russian pointe lumina, and suffolk solos. If you mean the heel is long/baggy or you have a short heel you can sew the fabric up so it doesn't hang down.

Does anyone know the difference between Luminas and Bravas? The specs seem the same. I wear Dolce's but am thinking of switching to something in the Spotlight Collection.

They are so pretty My teacher said I am not even close to getting my pointe shoes lol but I no longer take ballet :(
