Dưa Giá Another one of my making pickle series:)) Thank you for the encouragement with my English. Again, I had to include some Vietnamese here too. This video is to teach how to make bean sprout pickles. A very popular side dish from South Vietnam, it's a simple dish but not easy to make. Sweet and sour and most importantly, crunchy. If you follow the exact instructions and recipe, you will succeed. Good luck and thank you as always for your support.

  • I've made this twice now. It is very good! But make sure to follow the instructions; it is very easy to make it too sour or too sweet.

  • @dmcn19 I'm glad you enjoyed it. That's great.

  • This looks so good. I can't wait to try it. Can you add other vegetables, too? Cucumbers, radishes? What else?

  • @Gailannecos Cucumbers may not work. For this particular dish, which main item is beansprouts, I normally just add only the ingredients mentioned in the video. Some people may want to add ginger, but I normally don't. Thank you for viewing.

  • thanks for the vid

  • @Truong1800 You're welcome Truong. Thank you for viewing.

  • @dmcn19 Hi, you do not need to put on the lid or put in the refridge during the 8 hours. After 8 hours, then add the lid and put in the refrigerator. Thank you so much for viewing.

  • This looks great. I think I have bought something like this from a Korean supermarket. When you wait 8 hours, do you put the lid on the container and put it in the fridge?

  • This looks good. They should have this at the Vietnamese restaurants.

  • @mickeylehuynh lol me doing a cooking video. I can't cook Vietnamese, with exception to trying your instructions. Even though I am a computer guy, I would need to figure out how to edit videos the way you do. Basically, you have more skill than I so it is better I watch YOU! Not to worry about your English. You are just fine.
