I utilize several different sources for my shipping supplies:
www.usps.com - FREE Prioirty Mail boxes and envelopes
www.uline.com - boxes for Parcel Post or international orders
www.overstock.com - bubble mailers and boxes
Sam's Club - bubble mailers, tape and bubble wrap
Staples - packing tape
www.nashvillewraps.com - recycled packing paper

When shopping online, I go through one of two shopping portals: www.ebates.com (cash back) or www.mypoints.com (gift cards).

  • Please, please, please make a video on how to ship something and how to get tracking information. I've been to the post office three times, using the kiosk, and nothing works. I tried First Class Mail, Priority Mail, and Priority Mail with Delivery Confirmation(which failed because I didn't have a Delivery Confirmation label on my package--how the heck was I supposed to know this ahead of... whatever!) to no avail. PLEASE HELP! My seller rating will go down because of no tracking info, etc.

  • @davidtheatheist I pay and print for my labels online and then have my Postal Carrier pick them up. You can print labels from usps.com or directly through PayPal. Delivery confirmation is included and free when printing online for Priority Mail packages.

  • can you please mail me the link of the bubble envelope because i dont see it at the website i am a new ebay seller

  • @elmasduro780 If you go to the Priority Mail boxes link on usps.com, the bubble mailers are in that section. :-)

  • FREE boxes from your Post Office, OMG that's Fantastic. Here in Canada the Post office charges for everything and it's not cheap! I use Uline for all my shipping supplies. They are right around the corner so I can pick-up anytime. .05 a box you cant go wrong. Thanks for sharing! I think Ill start doing some videos too and share my Canadian Finds, LOL

  • @denia72 I hope you start doing videos, too! Would love to see what you are finding in Canada! :-)

  • @annabellasgiftshop I tied that method but I didn't know which label to use. Sorry if that sounds stupid but I'm just starting to sell some of my used stuff on Amazon. I'd love to have a system that runs smoothly like yours. Thank you for your help.

  • Box Horder if you ask me.

I'm heading in the same direction.

    Thanks USPS.

  • I get my boxes from grocery stores

  • also a great way to get cheap bubble mailers is ebay itself. You can a box of 250 6x10 kraft or poly bubble mailers for 30 bucks shipped. And the larger the size the more they cost obvious. Compared to retail stores its a huge discount though. Along with tape, scales etc ebay is the place!

  • Great Video.. thank you, I usually ship Priority Mail so I do get the free boxes and envelopes, I can't pick up the bubble wrap one there, I have to go into USPS.com to order those. I do use Ebay to purchase Shipping items, and I pick them up for cheap at $1.00 stores, garage sales or thrift stores as well, I hardly ever to go Walmart, Target, etc. Question for your though.. where do you recommend me getting a good scale?

  • very informative, exactly what i need to know, thanks annabella

  • dammit usps.ca is down atm
