rglasby,
Thank you so much for the beautiful video of my homeland, my only regret is that we will never see that beautiful island in that condition again. It only took the ego of one narcissistic maniac to destroy it all. Now thanks to Castro we can only dream and wait. Hopefully, not another 50 years.
Thanks again!

Since you responded to my comment, I will tell you that your video has special significance for me. I imagine my father must have seen some of those same images that your grandfather captured so beautifully. He was ten years old in 1922 and, I believe, living in a rural area somewhere near Havana. He died many years ago. I brought your video to my page <www.myspace.com/mizmedia> because it made me think of him. So thanks again ;-)
those paintings today are worth lots of money because they are uniqe, and very old .

Yes, I would love to own them. But I don't. They are for sale by the Philadelphia Print Shop for $38,000. More than I can afford.

Thank you for this beautiful video, set to the evocative Chan Chan and Dos Gardenias. Wonderful!

Linda - Thanks for the kind words about my video. The paintings used in the video were created by my great-grandfather (EJ Meeker), so I was motivated.
Rick.
