Tokio Hotel's Studio Tour With Bill and Tom Kaulitz as the guides.

BILL: Hello and welcome to the studio of Tokio Hotel.
Tom: Tokio Hotel!
Bill: Of us. Yeah we're going to show you how recording here looks like and what we have done lately, day and night.
Bill: Let's start at the office. Here we have....diverse decision are made here. Georg is sitting here with Silke
Tom: ...with our beautiful assistant. If you'd have come 2 minutes earlier, it would have been embarrassing.
Bill: Here it's always messy, I have to say. now they have just cleaned-up, so this is the clean version, but usually it's a mess here. Here we make all of the decisions, we're answering e-mails and yeah, all that s**t... office stuff.
Now this is the kitchen, the most important room. Here we stuff our faces day and night. As you can see, Pizza is always here. It's cold and old but that doesn't matter there's always something for everyone.
Tom: Sometimes we also cook pasta.
Bill: Yes, we also cook pasta from time to time. But actually nothing is more important than our oven. Here we make frozen pizza... or order in.
This is the room where instruments are recorded. Sometimes we record guitar parts, but mainly the drums.
Tom: Yeah, mainly drums.
Bill: Gustav is always drumming here to all songs. We also have piano here.
Tom: We can play the piano very good. Let me.
Bill: Nononono, I want. Let's play together.
Tome & Bill: One,two,three
Bill: I played wrong, didn't I? Whatever.Anyway, we are excellent piano players.
All song are made here. Whenever we have new material, we come here and checkout how everything works together. We're rehearsing a lot. Here we are preparing for concerts, all this is happening here.
Let's continue with the heart of the studio.
Tom: The direction.
Bill: Here are lots and lots of buttons, and many people who know how things work. We don't know anything.
Tom: No, I know how things work. I can control this all.
Bill: No... yeah... I'm not so good at this. I leave that to the guys who work for us. Some place here there are all tracks from all instruments and stuff. We always listen to songs. Whenever we have a new one, we listen here to how it sounds like.
Tom: Then the boss decides if it's good enough or not. MOI!
Bill: At a musician, this is the place you are least of all.
Tom: No, I'm always here, I'm recording my guitar parts here. Sitting on the couch, very relaxed. Most of the time I only need one take. I'm very fast, the others always need much more time.
Bill: But now you have to follow us to the most interesting part of the studio. The room where the great singer is recording. One floor above...
We are getting closer and closer to the room where the singer is recording everything.
Hereeeee... Very, very... unspectacular. This is where I work, where I spend several hours a day.
Tom: Lyrics are always lying here. I'm singing the chorus part. Or rather, Bill is singing the chorus and I'm singing the main part.
Bill: No, I have to tell you, the guys can't sing at all. But really, this is were I spend most of my time. When the guys have been busy downstairs, I get a lot of work to do.
And now we show you the door to the place where we spend our nights. Behind this door is our apartment, where we live when we're recording. I guess it's better we don't show it to you.
Tom: We will show it as soon as a cleaning crew was in there.
Bill: it's very very messy.
Tom: Currently we are trying to redecorate everything.
Bill: Theoretically we can go from here to recording right after waking up, but we do this rarely. But it's useful to live right here. Okay, I guess that's it. As you can see it's not very spectacular, but this is where we spend a huge part of our lives.
Tom: And sometimes we have parties here too.
Bill: I hope you enjoyed our little tour. See you soon.
