tacksnthanks queried the (hudraulic) line pressure, not the ground pressure. What is the line pressure please?

They are actually not pre-drilled holes. They have attachments for areas where soils are very difficult to penetrate with just the Press-in force.
This is an example where no attachments were needed.

Yes, the costs to buy and the cost of maintainance is very high. Basic model rental is about US$2000/day.

Will somebody explain how this works? Where is the impact and vibration?

It works by using the reaction force of the driven piles and push in the next pile. Maximum pressure is 150 tons of downward force. It is not a percussion driven method, so there is totally no vibration or impact. The only little noise out of the whole operation comes from the powerpack which is sound-proofed and the hoisting of piles.

Thanks Alan, Silent Piler is the way to go in a congested environment to do sheet piling work.
