A Digital Pictures title that puts you in the place of a quarterback! Though replay value isn't that high, it's actually not that bad a title, and probably one of Digital Picutres' better FMV games... Though the video quality is not tha great and may even be better on other consoles like the Saturn version.

  • Apparently you never saw the mini night trap documentary if you think digital pictures took themselves seriously. All their games were meant to be like bad movie parodies. Thanks for the video of this ridiculous game lol

  • @YoOo0oToOo0ob True, but Digital Pictures, and Tom Zito more specifically, was aiming more for the Hollywood feel and tried to make it seem like you were playing a larger-budget movie. Consider that Digital Pictures games were costing literally millions of dollars to make and were using Hollywood talent, both actors and writers/directors, compared to ALG's obviously smaller-budgets and unknown actors.

The best way to say it is that ALG was the indies and DP was Hollywood.

As far as FMV games go this is actually one of the better ones ever made. It's not a bad game at all by FMV game standards. Did you know that you can scramble out of the pocket and run with the QB? It's a lot of fun to do. That alone shows me that this game could've been so much more had the devs been more creative. They could've used the same setup for defense and special teams and this would've been an instant classic in the FMV game genre. They really missed there.

  • Funny thing about this game is that is looked like it filmed with a local news team camera.

  • @ringnikakero1 Yeah I agree with you there. They were trying to cash in on a new concept by promoting that it was a higher quality movie than other companies were putting out packaged into a gaming experience. It may have gone over better if they made the games for arcades with higher resolution video than on the consoles. I know in Japan they went over well in the 80's when they did their anime FMV games or even in the US with Dragon's Lair. Corpse Killer is pretty hilarious though.
