Electric recumbent trike, KMX Typhoon based on Crystalyte

E-Trike based on the KMX Typhoon, Crystalyte 406 motor, 36/72V, 40A controller and 48V, 12AH Lithium (Cobalt) battery. Topspeed (off road) 45 Km/h. Due to the controller this electric trike has a strong acceleration.

In order to make this e-trike legally allowed on Dutch roads we splitted the battery in 2 x 24 V. The two batteries can be connected in parallel (24V), resulting in a max speed of 25 Km/h or in series (48V) which results in an, off-road top speed of 45 Km/h.

@DNFmcX Ok, go to scrapyard, look for a go kart, its cheep steering hardware plus some of the welds are allready done, the back is a mountian bike. then theres wheel size, i drive my tryke offroad, stair cases, mud ect... but very intimidating.on the street, maby you want light weight, 20" wheels, low to the ground, sleek and sporty, make your own jiggs and keep it simple, $1000 should do it , i hope that helped good luck

You got my attention! My son is just 6 months old but this would be a nice gift for his first birthday. My wife will go crazy... But so will we...hahaha And daddy will keep it save until he is old enough to ride it... ;-)
