If you have a Ciphone C6 A,S,T it is either a 4gb, 8gb or 16gb version. The Chinese seller's will tell you that the memory is not upgradeable because this phone was designed to look just like the iPhone which means there is no direct access to the battery or memory card.
However good news is if you are willing to open up the device the memory can in fact be upgraded by anyone to the 16gb version and possibly 32gb. I have personally upgraded mine from 8gb to 16gb so I know it can be done. It uses a standard Micro SDHC memory card.
Anyway attached video is from a site in China and shows you how to open up this phone. Please note the language is not in English -duh- so for many of us that means you will have to simply observe what this gentlemen is doing to access the memory.
Shouldn't need to state this but to be clear, if you open up your phone the warranty will no longer be honored so know that you do this at your own risk and will have to take responsibility if something goes wrong.
A few other interesting facts are listed below:
* Claims to have Samsung 2443 450mhz CPU inside, it does not! Real CPU is a K3 running at 360mhz. Device information has been modified in Windows Mobile to show Samsung information but it is not true
-- buyer beware I bought mine at fastcardtech.com and they insisted it was 450mhz but they knew it was not, all sellers from China advertise it this way so just know upfront they are deceiving you. Probably true with other phones from China so always be sure to do your homework before buying one of these clones! --
I have added a few forums you can research before buying and to confirm what I am saying about CPU speed scam. Use google translator to convert to your language.

Phone does run smoothly though at 360mhz and everything else I have tested was as advertised.
Some other interesting facts:
* Told must buy accessories from same China store because iPhone cable won't work. Truth is that this phone can use any iPhone/iPod cable for charging.
* Size is slightly off from real iPhone so can I use an iPhone case? Answer is yes, I have an EdHardy hard case and it fits perfectly.
* Phone runs Windows Mobile 6.1 but interesting to note that there is a WM 6.5 english rom in the works and could be released very soon (noted 12/1/2009)
* If you want to run emulators on this phone like the FPSEce it is simply not fast enough. At least not for the current version. Suspect you would need 500+ mhz.
* Screen size matches the iPhone 3G at 320*480 which seems cool at first, but guess what there are not many Windows Mobile games and applications that are supported at this resolution so basically a lot of stuff won't work :( Good news is that Windows Mobile 6.5 upgrade might solve that but there is no guarantee.
Other than that the phone itself works great and has everything I could want in a smartphone and at half the price with no contract. The phone runs off a GSM SIM card I purchased at T-Mobile and I get 500+ talk , unlimited texting and unlimited internet for $49 month which IMHO is a pretty good deal compared to all the absurd plans the cell phone carries want to nickel and dime you with.
Anyway hope this information helps someone.
Good Luck!
Thanks for the video and, specially, thanks for all the info given in the descrption. I'm interested in this phone but apparently there's some homework to do before getting one. Thanks again.

With Chinese clones you need to do lots of research :) Factories will do whatever it takes to move merchandise and quality assurance is practically non-existent. Buyer beware takes on a whole new meaning. However if you do your homework you can get a great product at a great price. Best of luck!

Fantastic your video! One problem with this phone is the battery life. I know that it can be replaced. I would be fantastic if you could upload a video of how to change the battery. Also, if you know the specs for the battery would be nice. So far I know that it is Li-Ion 3.7V 2200 mAh. If we know the model, we can change for a 4400 mAh so it would last much longer, don't you think?
By the way, I ordered one C6 yesterday and planning to order two more in the next days. :)

I have not opened in a while and yes the battery life could be better. Still for standby phone use it is not bad. It really gets drained if you goto wifi mode or watch videos, then you get about 2 - 4 hours out of it. Nice part is it comes with an external backup battery you can use in emergencies. Next time I open up the phone I will post the battery specs that I see.

I expanded from 8gb to 16gb, but someone else told me it can go up to 32gb. Problem is finding 32gb cards for a good price :) so really not worth it at this time.
