yeah downtown in rockwood tn that hapens alot cuse its hudge railraod crossing so hudge arms swing in the air and also they have thinks so they can go through and once bad storm hit and they broke 1 was bent/broke over crossing and 1 was bent amn in creek

In my old neighborhood of Remington, VA, Norfolk Southern had to replace the shields every week because of one dumbass tractor trailer driver. would always scrape the edge and keep going with disregard and tear the dam thing straight off lol. NS eventually sued his ass lol. He got fires two weeks after the lawsuit. The had to go so far as to place cameras on the other gate to catch him and get the plate number. The footage showed him hit it 8 times in a row. lol. The dumbass.

The Bridge Street crossing in Windsor Locks, CT has a huge gate that is always swaying in the wind. I always hang out there when waiting for Amtrak trains to go through town. In fact one day the wind caused the crossing gate to sway so far over that it broke the shields off the top of the crossing flashers on the cantilever bridge! It was kind of funny but I'm glad no cars were underneath it!

I was just saying with the position of the grade crossing signals, the tracks have to be running pretty close to the gas station. I never said you said anything. lol
