This is a little project done for animation class. The brief specified a realistic walk and run cycle for a biped and a quadroped. I tried to make it a bit more interesting with the desert theme.

  • You got talent.

  • @rackinglranch "pacing" is different to normal trotting

  • @nikle17 Yes they can, its called DRESSAGE

  • @nikle17 there are two types of trotters - one of which is a pacer, who trots with the same feet on each side stricking out

  • @nikle17 Yea they lift opposite corners at separate times, in the video the horses left side was hovering in the air... lol

  • the horse trots like a camel :( the back leg should meet with the front leg when trotting. I always studied horses on treadmills when animating them ^_^, it helps immensly.

  • what soft ware do you use?!?!?! this is cool!

  • Looks good. The trot sequence could use some work.

  • @rackinglranch yeah i argee like i have a race horse and that is how he goes !!!!

  • @rackinglranch +1 it just looks awkard because horses dont pace for very long (or i never see one do it longer than to start dashing
