Would "Senator Obama" have stood up for them and signed it? I would like to think he would have. Too bad he wasn't a senator until 2005.
I wonder how the future would have unfolded had Gore become president?
What would we have avoided or hit head on? The 'what-ifs" are intriguing, but alas, we shall never know:-(
This could be an idea for a new "fantasy documentary" film that mike could do. "What if Gore had become prez?"

The Senate is the cooling saucer to the hot headedness of the House, just as the Founders wanted, and it worked perfectly here.
While it is true that the election was nearly stolen by Gore, all is well that ends well.

No matter how evil the Republicans are, the Democrat mostly Senators are worse because they give people hope & trust over civil liberties and time after time they throw people under a bus, down river, and up shit creek without a paddle.

@JohnCFII yes it is. because by the time people wake up, they'll have no peaceful options left to fight the system. the question will become: can regular citizens successfully fight the gigantic secret service and military apparatus of the US? i doubt it.

Fahrenheit 9/11 is a great film! I don't care what people say about Michael Moore! Michael Moore is my hero in Liberal Politics! Michael Moore it's people like you who expose all the problems going on in the GOP and then offers hope with your movies! I wish you keep making movies Mike! They are truly awesome!
