@tenhundredkills on a final note.....I managed a shop in a "very" wealthy suburb. these ex-hippy, or still hippy wealthy parents would come in and ask us to do the most absurd things you can imagine. Like asking us to lie $600 dollar guitars "on the floor" so their 4 year old could run his spitty hands all over the guitar "to experience the feel of music"....people asked us to watch their "baby" while they got their nails done 5 stores down....this type of shit went on all day

@tenhundredkills I worked for a small private shop......but the big chain stores are even worse because management condones the chaotic, orgy-like, hang out in here all day & buy nothing behavior. Music shops by their very nature are wierdo magnets,,,,,,the psyc patients, the old deaf people who drag in filthy auto-harps covered in mold from their basements, the loser spinster piano teachers who want to return everything they buy......I could go on forever on this

@inkey2 That sounds a hell of a lot like my local Guitar Center. You have all kind of asses that do whatever they want and as a customer it's really annoying and makes me not want to bother going there anymore.

I managed a music shop you more years than I care to remember. It was an awful gig......but it was close to home. Nothing but wierdos and lunatics came in......for some reason people think just because they are in a music shop they can act like idiots......these same people would never act like that in a bank or jewelry store.....but because it's a music shop it's ok to lie on the floor, pull every guitar off the wall, stay for like 3 hours and buy nothing etc
