I did mean 381 hp to the crank. I guess I should have clarified that. I wasn't going to guess the r.w.h.p. because I've never looked at a Tundra's dyno sheet. What I can say for sure is that a stock GM 5.3 liter is going to need a nice list of mods to run with one of these stock 5.7 liter Tundras.

Those Tundras are strong. They come from the factory with 4.30s in the rear end. Factor that in with their 381 hp motor, and you have an animal. I'm not 100% sure, but I believe that the largest gears a Silverado 1500 can come with from the factory is 3.73. The '09 and up Dodge Ram 1500s can only get up to 3.92s in the normal trucks, and 4.10s if you order the R/T.

I'm not rooting for the Tundra. I'm just merely stating why they're quick right from the factory.

Well, supercharge the tundra then do it again. Stock v mods isnt fair, in my opinion. And the comment that chevy owns them all is stupid, ok...all trucks have won a race against the other. Type in 5.7 tundra vs 6.2 Denali, i think...anyway

@SemiHemi2008 I am not positive but i think you can order the silverado 1500s with 4.10 gears factory, well my 05 sierra 1500 came with 4.10 gears factory.

wow you hear that guy?? hahaha that ls2..haha that truck dont have a ls2..and its stock transmission..and if that thing was forged it would snap that trans the first time you hit it..nd btw..the chevy dnt have much of a tune either..his shift points are way low and you can still hear timing being pulled between shifts.another thing if cammed w heads allum block and all forged.haha your looking at a low 12 sec truck.. the tundra wouldnt have even been on the st as the chevy when it hits its 3rd

@SemiHemi2008 yep..you know your stuff..but you put 4.30s in a silverado..it would spank a tundra in every category..crewcab,excab,and even worse in a single cab.
