@joegully We no longer need the government to segregate The People - we do it to ourselves by sorting ourselves with labels. Why "African-American"? Why not just "American"? Not to mention, the "American" part is national; whereas, the "African" part is continental. To call oneself "African-American" bunches all those from the continent of Africa into just one bloc.

However, we less-often hear of "Nigerian Americans", "Egyptian Americans" or "Ghanaian Americans"; we just clump them all together.

Joe....Thank you for finally bringing the issue of reverse racism to light. I myself am "Brown" but I definately see the over sensitvity of this issue. As far as Obama is concerned, I think he is one of the most horrible presidents in US history, well maybe after Nixon. I am a registered Democrat but I reallt believe Obama is selling out our country in every way possible....and I dont care what his racial back ground is..

I am proud of you for speaking up as well, it is hard in todays world for white people to say anything against black people because it is always deemed racist. I have a lot of black male friends and always have because they seem to accept me for the crazy little white girl I am and I accept them as who they are as well, I am all about peace bc life is too short for hate. Everyone needs to know being different isn't a bad thing, if everyone was the same the world would be boring!

Hm. Well, while some could argue that political correctness has lessened, y'know racial bigotry, frankly I think that is more decency standards. The thing is about political correctness is that it over sensitizes people so much and makes them so afraid to say something offensive that it keeps them from speaking the truth or coming down to the wire when needed in order to discuss things that need to be talked about. IIRC Stalin invented the term "politically correct".

I heard, and I don't know if this is true, but all the race baloney is the government stirring up hatred to keep the masses sidetracked with stupid arguments. Think about it, how easy it is to control the masses by making them fight amonst themselve, anyone can get on here and say some offensive racial stuff and bam there you have it, everyone on the hate band wagon and not paying attention to the real issues.
