Sorry fusionschubert. Rich IS SO SPOT ON when he says that Aguilera & Britney will NOT be remembered 20 years from now. Hell, their almost forgotten now. No one knows their songs unless you are about 10 years old. If that is what you are, it's OK, you will grow up and see the light. Every generation has it's one hit wonder flash in the pans. Britney is remembered for being crazy NOT a good musician. She belongs to the category of people who are famous for just being famous. NOT TALENTED.

Rich could not be more right when he motions towards where today's bands will be years later when people look back on who was who... today's pop artists that he's eluding to are creations of the industry and what corporations think people want, they aren't bad-ass individuals who got discovered for doing their own thing like Dylan, Hendrix, Joplin, Zeppelin, Cream, Sabbath, etc. I know damn-well that my kids won't be thumbing through my record collection asking who Christina & Britney were.

@fusionschubert Im sure Rich's point was more to do with the fact that music isnt real and means nothing anymore. The black crowes represent a generations of kids who are aware that true rock n roll is fading into the background and people like christina, however talented they may be, are ruining real music for the people who care about music and lyrics etc rather than image and sex appeal..although the crowes had a hint of both in the early days.

and if you want to stick to that point.. nobody remembers the black crowes, unless you are a fanatic... people only remember hard to handle... I love the crowes, don't get me wrong, but their story could be exactly the same as christina aguilera's..

and I want to add.. christina aguilera has an amazing voice, and the musicians that perform with her, damn, the best of the best dude.. do some research

hehe, i find it really interesting when people think their opinion is "final" based on nothingness.. I don't mean to protect britney spears cause her music does nothing to me.. but saying she doesn't have talent is just ridiculous.. she's talented as a performer, dancer, her voice, although not the best, is recognized as soon as you hear her sing,.. nobody is God to say who will or who won't succeed, specially in Arts and Music..
