I always thought that the Original Vocal on this tune was one of the Greatest "blue eyed soul"
vocal performances of all time! Cat had incredible Chops and still sounds great. REAL MUSIC

@MJCProductions2011 As a afterthought, every generation has to have music that they can call their own to seperate them from their parents. In line with what you stated about influences , the perfect example is that of my son who is now in his 40's thought that at the time his generation discovered Ozzy when in fact years earlier I was at concerts when Ozzy was with Sabbath. It's all been done before. When you listen to covers do they sound better than the originials? And whose music is it?

@Overs89 i know. what's funny is that the people who say it sounds dated listen to bands who were influenced by these "dated" artists. That's the difference between a fan of a genre and a fan of music.
