At the heart of the Occupy Wall St. movement, is discontent over the corruption in our political system. And the fact that it's money and it's tight grip over the government, that keeps Wall Street bankers out of jail, while Americans keep losing jobs, homes, and struggle to pay off their debts. The CBS/New York Times poll that came out this week showed that 89% of Americans don't trust their government. And 43% now agree with the Occupiers. Lawrence Lessig, author of "Republic, Lost" discusses.

  • We were told Gaddafi was a dirt bag who set the tribes against each other as yet another reason why we're lucky he's gone, because he was a despot that would sink to any depth to stay in power.

Do you realize: Our elites do the EXACT SAME THING, by getting their lackeys as well as various jackass members of the public to hype issues of race, gender, flag burning & other largely unimportant crap.

Turn on NPR any day, or Fox news or Democracy Now; you'll see. Constantly playing the race card.

  • "The spirit of resistance to government is so valuable on certain occasions, that I wish it to be always kept alive. It will often be exercised when wrong, but better so than not to be exercised at all. I like a little rebellion now and then...."

  • @Tempolisto i tought it meant liar

  • @MrGOTAMA420

I think you either mean Complicit or Duplicitious...or you made a new word that means both which I support.

  • @garouHH I wish peaceful revolution was possible.. I really do. But for me, at this stage, I see things blowing sky high as more a matter of when than if. I know you didn't ask me directly, but your question caught my attention. :)

  • @freefreakshow Same here, going to spread this around as much as I can. Finally someone who articulated both sides, and made some damned SENSE.

  • obAMMA=DUPLICIT

  • I don't like the headline.

Love love love it. I've watched it a few times. Trying to get others to see it on FB.

  • Oh this is so good. I am very glad to have found it.

I think that the headline of US falling like Rome, is making it hard to get others to watch it.

Is there a way you could change the headline and keep the URL? This is sooo good, I'm just trying to get others to see it.

  • He had to mention Global Warming. Sheesh! We just had snowstorms in the NE, 50 days before the start of winter. We were told 5 years ago that if we didn't act now it would be too late. Then I guess it's now too late. So let's leave it out of any discussions about what's wrong with our country................ Please?

  • @BlueGeneXP Do you believe peaceful revolution to be impossible at this time?

  • Plain and simple: the government does not rule.
