This is Stage 1, Lesson 9 of Justin's Beginner Guitar Course.

In this video we are going to look at your practice routine for Stage 1 and make sure you know what stuff you should be practicing.

I figured I'd ask here since the forum isn't letting me register: For the ear training practice, is our goal to eventually recognize the chords without any previous references? The exercise instructions gave me the impression that they were to help develop a sense of absolute rather than relative pitch.

@cocoprettyhoneybear ok you go to his website and on the beginners course, scroll down until you see BC 117 and BC 118. Then you click on them it shoud work. Bc 117 is just a list of songs you cna play, BC 118 is ear training

@lurewars it is free bc 117 lists easy songs and bc 118 is about learning to play by ear.
