What a beautiful and proud America we once had; untill the hippies of the 1960's started to become politicians and push socialist "change" in the late 70's through the present.

Well, I don't want to get too sour about this, but your generation really ruined it for those born during the mid 60s and 70s. Look at the consequences we face today -- high divorce rate, illegitimate children, the slow death (emptying) of mainline Protestant churches and Catholic churches, growing acceptance of alternative lifestyles - and even that wasn't accepted in my childhood.

Ahh! The days of Eisenhower, Studabaker, Donna Reed, Bobby Day, and Tom Lehrer. Too bad the counterculture had to come along and ruin it.
