  • ya. but i just ate a raman noodle packet with no water. then i thought I could eat some of the seasoning from the little packet right after i bit a chunck of the noodle brick off. It was a bad idea in the end. cause the noodles were all hard so my tounge didn't touch the powder to the roof of my mouth. So when i breathed in, it shot a bunch of loose, chicken flavored, HIGHLY potent flavor powder down my throat. I coughed for ever... and each cough was this wierd chicked flavored hell..

  • Bullshit because you own the Dell and don't want to believe the results? Too bad.

  • how can be awarded of this "feature" (lol) before buy ? :P

  • what are the response times for those models?

  • WOW really impresionant!!!

  • @tbonesixtynine

thats not at all true because you change dirrections faster. therefore you take less damage.

  • different resolutions is all, quite obvious. your comparing proggressive against interlaced. p will win all the time.

  • oh and btw the 2ms is not referring to input lag not response time. I still have to see the first monitor that specifies its input lag, because it is frame and resolution dependant. In my tests the NEC is outperforming the iiyama although the NEC is stating 5ms resp. time against the iiyamas 2ms...

in games, its the lag that matters, not the pixel response time

  • I just want to add that both monitors dont feel laggy when playing. The 'smoothness' however is still not CRT like, but I guess that will never be the case

  • @NicolXIX

I have just done some extensive testing

CRT is iiyama visionmaster pro 510 22", LCD 1 = NEC EA241WM and LCD 2 was IIYAMA 22" ProLite E2209HDS-B1

the iiyama has an average of 12ms inputlag, the nec performed a little better with average 8ms inputlag.

I have taken about 40 pictures for each test and made averages (not all were readable, about 50% was readable) the tests were done using a splitter cable, not in clone mode.

  • @MaestroBLC other things are boring.

  • I'm saying that the original comment was left a while ago, and now I have things to do.
