I was going to ask the same thing. Why is he only allowed to visit twice a week. I think he should be allowed to see Mario as much as he wants to. I don't like to see this sweet goose locked up. I hope they find a better solution. Two years is way too long.

Why couldn't he take Mario home with him temporarily while the lake is restored. Better than being apart and locked up. Zoo's do like caging animals must be a control thing they think they no best but sometimes commence sense has to prevails

@shairaptor That's not what i said..  You misunderstood. The whole thing about trying to make it seem like a romantic relationship -- male-female or male-male -- is creepy. They did that in the first news story that they did on them. And they carried it over into this one. It's an interspecies friendship, like we can have with a dog, cat, horse, etc. NOT a romance. The romance implication is creepy.
