According to the World Health Organization, we pay $6k per capita for healthcare while the rest of the civilized world pays $2k. What do we get for our extra $? Higher infant mortality, lower life expectancy, etc.

BTW, malpractice costs about $300 per person in the US. The big difference is our administrative costs. Here, we pay MBAs to make medical decisions. Elsewhere, doctors get to decide. Here, Doctors need a staff to fill out paperwork. Elsewhere, private doctors just need a nurse.
