PS3 Trophy Rant

Yes I'm well aware that getting trophies and achievements are not the biggest deal in the world but hell ever since this console generation started and they implemented them into each and every game its something most gamers have strived for. And why not? Its a genius concept that adds replay value to games and gives the gamer something to always want to accomplish. Thing is why is PS3 is so fucking far beyond in this?

i always asked myself the same question...whats so hard about patching a game for trophy support?its not like its a lot of work..just come up with a name for the trophy and make it appear after the required action is completed..maybe im missing something but that seems the easiest thing in the world.why are they so fuckin stubborn and they just seem to almost out of spite refuse to give all old games trophies??

Exactly what i wanted to get sony to do, and you said it all for me. im not buying a game, just cuz it dont have trophies, if they did have trophies for it, i'd have got it by now. hats off to you man. thumbs up

I never cared for trophies, the hardest era of gaming was the 8bit days, and if we all had trophies for as hard as those games were to beat we'd be walking around decked out like 4 star generals.
