Closer to the Edge

****PLEASE READ*****

I'm pretty sure I'm ready to return to YouTube! School's been out for about 2 weeks and I'm almost stress free! :) So yeah! I will post some videos on here, but I might start a new channel and do actual videos and skits and things.... :)

My PC (which I mainly edit on) is dead. My cat spilled water on it and it's screwed up. But I'm going to try to use Final Cut Pro and iMovie.

This video was for my last Digital Cinema project of the school year! I learned so much in that class. I edited this on Final Cut. This is only my third project on FCP, but my first music video. I'm pretty pleased with it.

Sugar Plum is doing great! I have the best pony ever. :)

Hershey.... is another story. His coffin bones are pretty messed up. Vet says he probably won't be able to jump over 3'. I've been jumping 3'6" since I was 10. I bought Hershey thinking that he was going to be my upper level eventer... So my plans have been greatly altered. I don't know what will happen to him, to me- to us. I love him. I never want to part with him. I don't plan to at the moment, but I miss jumping so much. I have a whole in my heart.

And who knows? I may give up eventing. I may become a hunter/jumper. AGAIN. But I won't become a Dressage rider. I seek the thrill and adrenaline from jumping.

@CookieLouie17 Thank you! :D And I got it from my Digital Cinema teacher! The box it comes in has about 4 other programs which are used when editing films and is about $1200. FCE is supposed to be better for strictly video editing though! :)

I got FCP from my Digital Cinema teacher- it's originally a $1200 program that comes complete with Soundtrack Pro, Color, and 2 other programs. I would only get it if you are seriously interested in film and plan on using all the elements when creating an actual film. FCE seems like a much better option if you strictly want to do effects and video editing. I have seen lots of fantastic videos on here of people who edit with FCE! :)
