Having grown up behind the Iron Curtain, Czech President Vaclav Klaus clearly understands what motivates today's environmentalist movement. http://www.LibertyPen.com

  • I wish we had a president like this guy.

  • Sharp guy. Totally won me how he answered the second question. Soft spoken but sharp, ordered concepts, reminds me of Freidman. Thanks for posting.

  • @onvan25 He is very popular in Czech rep. In fact the most popular politician. There are only few eco-terrorists and people that are pretty simple, that are against him.

  • @LibertyPen but there is no political party near to his ideas in czech rep now...

  • Monkey, Of course the entire history of the globe is one of either warming or cooling. it would be news if it stopped. The question is, what does man have to with it? Those who say man is destroying the planet are just passing along politically-expedient theory. Klaus is on this like a laser beam.

  • Lol this is retarded, of course global warming is happening, the facts supporting it are huge.

  • well said

  • and he is an actual president....unlike that other clown

  • It was funny how Ireland voted against Lisabon treaty but they had to vote again because EU didnt like it. Klaus was the last one to sign it and it was because Czech Supreme Court said it isnt against Czech constitution which clearly is tho, and Klaus said that he cant question the decision of supreme court so even tho he didnt like it he signed it...bad times

  • This guy as a great man. In case there are any Americans watching who don't know, in Europe we are being taken over by a fascist/socialist anti-democratic superstate called the European Union. Lately we have had the Lisbon Treaty forced upon us which passed almost all soverignty to the EU, and this man really put up a fight to resist it, unfortunately he was bullied into complying, but I really admire him.

  • exactly !

  • Isnt it 1/2 man, 1/2 bear, and 1/2 pig?
