  • lol your a funny man, I can tell your an entertainer! I like what you said. I too am a professional singer and I so agree! Love your humor! Someday I would love to be a judge, I would be worse than Simon! You were so right about rejection! I so agree, it happened to me in 1995 and I was heartbroken, but I got passed it.

  • @Mollykat88 It's all you can do. Thanks for stopping by.

  • @robertantonnyc yes The Glory Gospel Singers from NYC. Check out the Calvin CarringtonSwing Low, Sweet Chariot video...that's me.

  • i just gather what i can to see what went wrong and move on. so the next time i have a better chance. rejection is a part of life. peace. gregg

  • Good advice

  • I hope that ppl can see that a lot of the videos in this series relate to most professions. I guess the reason I do it specifically for singers is because it gives me a direct point of view on things and I can relate specific stories and anecdotes.

    Thanks for chiming in.

  • However, I think this is a good video. This goes for everything in life. Even job interviews. Dont think you were not picked because you were not good. Sometimes you're not the right look, feel, sound . . . etc. Its hard to get over rejection but I feel the older you get the easier it is to deal with. I wish I had your experience from such a young age! I'm 27 and still mortified to audition for anything.

  • I think Adam really won, but the question was, why did your friend get a chance on Idol when she was more plain and modest about her performance. I was saying, it sounds to me like she has herself and her voice fully figured out, and that may be a threat to Idol producers. They want someone that will do anything they want, they dont want someone who's 100% their own. I also feel, that Adam would have been successful with or without Idol. He was making strides before them :-).
