I agree: using the time tested mechanisms that evolution has allready provided us with, is most likely a good path ty try out when it comes to making good robots (not that i'd really have any idea, it just sounds reasonable to me ;P) But do you really need that much computer power for these tasks? I mean, if you can put 2 GHz of raw processing power into a cell-phone, then surely you can fit a good amount of number-crunching kick into a robot that size?

@SamuelDMorgan when you use evidence from a subject that allready is in question simply makes your argument weaker. It's like going to a courtroom and using a suspect as a defence witness. If you want to convince people about the existance of god stop using passages from the bible as evidence. instead use something that is allready widely accepted. This is a mistake that most religious people do. And this is probably why noone even takes time to listen to what you have to say.
