@mrd It is true that some people don't want to live, yet killing yourself slowly and painfully with a bad diet is dumb. I don't want to live a long life as of now: I am 31 and I kinda hate old people, lol, probably because most I see are overweight, senile & unsexy, BUT I eat well cuz I want to be happy and vibrant TODAY, tomorrow, THIS WEEK, this upcoming vacation that I want to travel, etc. It's about being vibrant and happy NOW. And ppl who neglect their health are not suicidal, but ignorant.

Why do you care about me so much? You want me to be healthy etc. I have to say that even though you are married you have a very admirable soul. I personally believe that if a person wants to get to who he or she really is they need to start thinking with their soul. There is always truth there. And ones body can reflect their soul. I'm dazed Natalie. Thanks for wanting all of those things for me. I weigh 175.8! And this is mostly from calorie restriction and healthy eating! :) Peace be upon you!

Dear psychetruth...I have started exercising for 1/2 an hour three or four times a week. I weighed myself at the end of the week and I gained about five pounds...WTF?! It's so frustrating because I started this to lose weight...

Muscle weights more than fat.
As you build up muscle your weight might actually increase but the percentage of body fat will decrease. You should also feel better and have more energy.
The amount of muscle you have dictates your metabolism. This will help put your body into fat burning mode.
Keep at it.
