God of War 3 Glitch: New Game+ / Bonus Play/ Start with all weapons at max level.

Normally there is no NG+/Bonus Play/Start with all weapons at Max Lv. in game, they only thing you could've kept was godly possesions, which somewhat gave you NG+ But you still had to get the weapons and items normally during the story. Until now!

With a little glitch using the combat arena, you can start a new game with all weapons at max level! Just die constantly in the combat arena until you get the message "Do you want to change the difficulty to easy" (NOTE: This message will not pop up if you select the difficulty on Chaos, so don't choose that) select no, and start a new game (it doesn't matter what difficulty). Its not perfect (for example you still have to get the blades of exile, and level them up but since that is so early in the game and with godly possesions that should be resolved really quickly.

@Fabiolol2 Thats the Boreas Icestorm, the only story progressing item, Having that would've just cause problems in game when you got to the that point.

Does this work for ultimate edition?

Because I downloaded the extras from the PSN and I had the normal edition, so with the download I don't know if i can do this glitch.

@zippy327 In order to keep your earned stuff in a difficulty, you must have beaten it at least once already. Therefore, you gotta go thru Chaos normally first...

so I actually just bought god of war 3 and I still didn't beat it yet since I was kinda busy. anyways for those of you who tried the glitch, you know in like the beginning of the game, before you beat Poseidon, you know how you go to Gaia's heart? and there's like blue crystals protecting the heart? and since you already have nemean cestus. At that point can you destroy it using nemean cestus and destroy her heart? and if you can, what happens?

it does not work for me :C i don't have greatest hits version is it because i updated my ps3 to the latest update 4.00 because i deleted update 1.03 so i don't know.........
