  • One of the greatest bands ever. They have an almost infinite list of well written songs.

  • An obscure, underrated psych classic, from Something Else.

  • this song is the reason i subscribed to your channel

  • Droppin' doses.

  • <3 I LOVE THIS SONG ITS SO TRIPY

  • This was still them going with the trend of the day. I like the entire Kinks' span of music, but for me the best stuff started a year after this when they chiseled their own identity (U.S. ban necessitating) & went into the realm of concept albums.

  • Something Else is so so under-rated - like much of Ray Davies' work. This song is a gem, but then there are so many on this album and to top it all, Water loo Sunset and End of the Season. Practically invented a whole sub genre of music later mined by Madness, Blur, Squeeze, The Jam, Supergrass and so many more.

  • I heard it sober and trippin' and I still think it's the greatest song ever.

  • It may kinda suck when your sober but if you're trippin it's beautiful.

  • This song has to be listened to in stereo. The mono version on the CD reissue loses the whole effect.

  • Now I know why the Kinks discarded psychedelic. ;)

  • one of my favs
