  • Thanks for the input...I just read your posts at my You tube page The glue did not hold on the metal bit so I just mounted a servo in the front side of the plane, should be strong enough I am going to add some more nose weight like you said and hopefully the ladings will all be greased right in

    Thanks for the advice

  • @Guinnie glad you sorted the cannard out , hope all goes well , like i said once she is set up properly she flies like shes on rails , let me know how you get on when test flying her will you , hope all goes well - pete .

  • where did you buy this? I could not find Wholesale Models?

  • @Guinnie wholesale went under theyre now called ashford models , dont know if they still sell em , give em a ring , i saw a new boxed one this week on bmfa classifieds = ave a look .

  • @tbobborap1 Ahhh I found one Gunna do it Electric Can you give any recommendations as far as the throws are concerned?

    The manual is laughable

    Thanks

  • @Guinnie hi , wrote mine off back in may so cant measure them but i think the elevons were about 15 mm up and down , the cannard was about 20 mm down and 15 mm up , dont forget when u pull the elevator stick down to make the model go upwards the cannard must go downwards to raise the nose! happy landings - pete .

  • @dubucman thanks

  • may i ask how far did you set your CG location from leading edge ?

  • did you fly yours on 2.4 or FM? I am having some issues with interference

I think I might have to change the roting on my antenna

  • @tbobborap1 Thanks that helps What happened to yours?

Did you have any trouble with the metal joiner for the canard? I just glued the the thing in and it seemed Ok then I went to set up the servo on it and that center part that comes down had broken free of the shaft..

I cut a hole in the nose top and put some epoxy on it so I hopefully I fixed it
