But I can tell you that Arshavin supposedly spoke English at working with DICK Advocat, coach of Zenit from SPb and Gus Hidding in the national team.
So He tried to speak two years ago. For two years of learning it's probably bad.
Hope Arshavin is a good help for Gunners,, though I doubt that a deal's in a team at all, I mean the country is his dream, and he must clutch for this chance. National Team ain't interest him, I guess.
