I think you may have had some kind of intent and message with the song but it was lost on me .This song makes me sick to my stomache.

She was either black and fat or either blcak and pure ugly..that they way they portrayed her. Shame.....but the truth is she was smart as hell no matter if she was portrayed black or what she was smart as hell. Her family is still collecting from this. Im sure she made sure to teach them the correct way and the ignorant way of being. Yea its jacked up they made jokes about it but she had all the people wanting to eat her pancakes. She was highly paid even for back then. Its not her fault
-
@raphaels4 Nope but thats the point
-
Even if the song is "on purpose" it is a poor choice!
-
Could you have picked a more jacked up song than this?
-
@lionelslady .... yet so many will remain blissfully ignorant and even if this were explained in the most basic manner...they still wouldn't care. It's disgusting.
-
@lionelslady Because your own brothers are victims of the same Willie Lynch interrogation; and just as bamboozled as you. Don't hate them, but understand why they are why they are, and how the black race can move forward progressively.
P.S. If black women knew who they really were....

did u read the video description AT ALL???????
-
The song was on purpose. did u even read the description for the video???
Dear Brother(s)/Sister(s)
You are so confused. You post these images as if you really understand, but the rap belies your ignorance. The use of bitches, whores and niggas lets me know that you still have a lot growing to do before you are truly enlightened. Challenge yourself to broaden your vocabulary and learn how to combine the history with a better rap. We need to think on a higher level. We've come too far to go backwards
Peace,
A Concerned Sister

This was for an art show. It's showing us how black women were portraded in the past through "mammy" images, while the humiliating song in the background shows us how black women are still being degraded today. I really don't think the person who posted was trying to be disrespectful. This was meant to spark emotion, to make us realize that today it's our own who degrade us! How can we hate the Don Imus's out there when our own brothers call us "bitch" and "ho"? The whole thing makes me sick!
