don't call it a "guilty" pleasure!! Alabama is incomparable. You should wholeheartedly enjoy it, instead of denying some of the highest quality music you could ever experience!!
Now, Katy Perry is a "guilty" pleasure... Lil Wayne is a "guilty" pleasure...Taylor Swift would even be considered a guilty pleasure as it stands now (waiting for her style to mature...). BUT Alabama is not a guilty pleasure! *shakes head*

@nightfireivey My mother was always a big fan of Alabama, so I kinda listened to them growing up. I got lucky once when their tour bus stopped at the local Dairy Queen in Clayton, NM where I live. I was in the right place at the right time. I was able to talk to Randy Owen and the rest of the band and they're really great guys. They posed for pictures with those that recognized them and I got autographs of all the guys.

@hattrick1972 I too always been a metalhead but I always work around these dixie folk who love listening to Alabama, Thats where I picked up my interest for it. :)

I've always been a metalhead and I've always been a big fan of Iron Maiden but I grew up listening to Alabama (thanks mom) and I guess I have to admit that it's what I'd call a guilty pleasure. There's just something about their sound that gets to me.
