Used to live in La Terraza in 2001-2002. Thought it was a nice place until they screwed me when we moved out. Maybe they should have treated folks better and God wouldn't have burnt it down!

I live about 3,000 miles away, but I am a native of this area. I followed just about every minute of this awful fire via the internet and phone call back home. It truly saddened me to tears to see the devastation of beautiful North County. My heart and prayers go out to all of you still. I've recently visited the area and am glad to see that a lot of rebuilding has been done.

What a horrible night. My douchebag boss told me not to leave work because the fire was never going to get that far. I walked home to La Terraza from Ber.Cnt.Dr.& RB Rd. The air was THICK with acidic smoke. I'll never forget waking up that afternoon to go to work with a massive hangover. The night before was a REALLY fun night too. Not a care in the world till I headed to work and saw the gray haze over by the Circle K.

hrm, it was so scary how near the fire was to my city. escondido was surrounded, if the fire lasted, my city would have no where to go.

wow. my old neighborhood... great video techniques. nice job
this is the area behind rb park. that day was so scary. and it's wierd because the morning before that, it was beautiful. we were watching daniel's game at the park, megan and i were playing catch and she even bought a kite. but that was when the smoke started coming. we thought it was in ramona and that it wouls never come

yea, i am not too familiar with the area, i was actually down in the area helping distribute food and water with a Non-Profit, and on the way back to LA stopped to take some footage of all the destruction. But yes, i remember driving past the park, must have been the Rancho Bernardo Park, as i headed back toward the freeway.
