There are far too few like her in the Democratic Party. I am a Conservative Independent and I will work with ANYONE who understands what a complete disaster illegal immigration is to our nation. If you are here LEGALLY to BECOME an American, or to go home after working the terms of your visa, you are welcomed with open arms. If you are here to drain the US taxpayer and bring in anchor babies, disease and chain migration, then you mean us no good at our cultural and economic expense.

I agree with a lot of what this lady says. But employers laws are not the only thing that needs to be in place. The border must be secure. Not only against illegal aliens but terrorists, drugs, criminals. Employer laws are not going to keep the tons of cocaine from comming over our border, it will not keep terrorists from comming over our border, it will not keep killers rapists looking to get away from the law in their country from comming in. SECURE THE BORDER

That is brilliant! Yeah lets give employers a reward for doing what is right. What do you propose for a reward? Who does it go to? The CEO, or does it go to the HR tech who actually fills out the I9, don't forget the file clerk who maintains the companies file system...wait what about the cleaning crew who cleans the file cabinet do they get a reward also?
How about having a strong moral backbone and doing what is right because that is what you are SUPPOSED to do?

It is just as important to reward employers who are I-9 Compliant as it is to punish the employers that are not.

WOW, a congresional member who stands up for what is right for the AMERICAN citizen!! I wish we actually had more senators like her to stand up for US! Everyone else who doesn't feel this way should be looking for another job...PRONTO!!
