Well said, it's amazing it did all start with Alice. I didn't realize this till I was reading wikipedia about the 1951 movie and the long obsession he had with Carroll.

I read somewhere that Virginia often liked to correct people in saying that the woman putting her to bed was actually her aunt.
This is very nice little commemoration, and I'm glad that someone was able to say it. Very heartfelt. She'll be poorly missed.
