  • One of the most talented and beautiful men that have ever graced this planet. Even now, whatever hisaddictions and illnesses, I cannot see anything else but the Monty who has made me dream, who enchanted and thrilled many unforgettable times in my life. Such a Legend! Such incredible an actor!! So magnificent and shockingly, never got an academy award even for "From here to eternity". Truly wrong!!!! Still, all my awe and respect and love.

  • What a graceful and gifted actor.. and gosh what a looker!!! If he ever stared at me with those eyes, I'd melted all over his shoes!

  • @iTellyoueveryting Please inform me , what is straight ?

  • @CountThrillhammer What is straight? Have you ever met a gay man? I've known gay men more butch than most straight men. I think you add just as much to the negative crap that he put up with in society when he was alive. Everyone trying to put people in fucking boxes.

  • @TheJerrycitot You're a moron. There's a lot of moronic crap on this board and yours takes the cake.

  • No one, but no one, comes close to the talent that Montgomery Clift had. His sensitivity showed through in all his work, as well as his intelligence. My favorite Clift film was the young lions. I just loved the scenes between Hope Lange and Monty. They were the best.

  • @prettyb0y1992 excuse me, but he didn't have to sleep with anyone to get where he got. He started on Broadway at the age of 14! And who are you to say what one person does sexually is "a sick habit?"

  • @Blactor And as for his dirty little secret, you've probably heard from various sources. He had a rather "sick" habit of sleeping with men & women, who could propel his acting career/fame, including many old directors.

  • @Blactor Well it's always good to know theres one less obsessive Dean fan & one more sane human being in this world :) Let's face it, that car crash was the best thing that ever happened to him, I seriously doubt he would have had much of a career, let alone being a "legend"; because the majority of the public would've eventully realised he had zero acting talent. He's more or less the Tom Cruise of the 50's.

  • @prettyb0y1992 Glad I'm not the only person annoyed by James Dean, and think he's stunningly overrated. I read a Brando biography and was sickened by the depiction of Dean's sycophantic worship of Brando. Yuck! Will be checking out that Clift bio though, thanks!
