@NYhistorian What makes the people co-signing her "self-hating"? The word is legitimate regardless of this girl. The ultimate issue is that we have made the word "cool" and then we're added a "but only for us" thing. If we're going to associate the use of that word with "its ok because we're family and we can use it amongst family" then we have to do a better job of treating our "family" better and with more respect.

In reading some of these comments It's apparent that some ppl missed your overall point! Of course it is not accpetable for V-Nasty's man looking a** to use the N-Word but it's also unacceptable for blacks to use it.
