I think many rhythm Guitarist can play solo as same level or better than lead guitarist but they just didn't show.

At least I know Dave Mustaine(I know he was Metallica lead guitar) or Nikc Catanese of BLS.

Many new generation might misunderstand that Rhythm man doesn't need to be able to solo ^^

Saw Gilby live yesterday, it was awesome! Had a little talk, got an autograph and a picture, a truly talented and nice man!

i remember meeting gilby at a guitar clinic. i asked him to sign my guitar and gave him a white paint pen that was unopened. he went to sign the guitar and nothing came out of the pen so he sat down and literally vandalized the stage with the pen until it worked. fucking crackup

@Nevanator7 he has been saying that he doesnt like the playing all the time, dropped in on this little tune here and saw this amazingly retarded conversation, i gotta agree with Funkenstein, buckethead is one of the top 5 guitarist technicly (that is famous ofc, many hidden talents over the world) but it IS boring to listen to, i have a friend who more or less worship him like a priest love god, say what you want about it, i neither like slash's playing that very much, just tuned in for gilbert.
