This is me playing along to 'Toxic', from Britney Spears' album 'In The Zone' (2003). My bass is a 2003 Warwick Corvette Standard (Ash) 5 string. It is going straight into a Line 6 Toneport GX, using the 'Adam & Eve' amp model. Synth/fuzz sound was achieved using the toneport's 'Bronze Master', with a lot of parametric EQing.

  • will u plz tab this for me???????

  • @CaptinofAwesomeness

    Sorry, I don't do requests.

  • Hey, do you know what's the exact effect/distortion used on the original song? or is it just bass synth?

  • @Derviczen

Not sure whether it is a synth or a bass guitar. To me it sounds slightly too fluid to be a synth, but I guess that it could be. If it is a bass guitar, I have no idea what effect was used. It might be just one pedal, or a combination of several effects, or possibly a plugin in the recording software they used.

  • woww u r great :)
