  • Hi !

I love YMO, and I've watched the official Simoon YMO clip over a thousand times...

I play the piano too, and I'd love to have a sheet music for your version... Did you write one ?

Very good work indeed, I love it !

    Please, I'd love a sheet music !

  • No. He did not. YMO did.

  • Ah, I wouldn't say that. But that's just my opinion. His FF stuff had so many memorable melodic tracks, while I really cannot recall anything great about LO OST, except for a few decent tracks, like the main/opening themes. Uematsu always aces those. But generally throughout the soundtrack, I found very little tasty musix and definitely nothing that stuck in my head.

There was nothing that I would recall in the middle of the night and humm, and ask myself--hey where is that cool theme from?

  • He is truly in a new phase, but he is still Uematsu and his essence is still alive. Anyway, Lost Odyssey OST is very FF-ish, in my opinion.

  • Wow,i love it!

  • Oh ok well thanks for the info.

  • No. It was composed by Haruomi Hosono of Yellow Magic Orchestra.

  • Did Nobuo Uematsu compose this? These are cute lil tunes but I must honestly say that I miss his older stuff and don't really like the new compositions like the Lost Odyssey OST. Maybe he's now in a different musical phase that I am never to understand...

I will always admire Mr. Uematsu for his work on the FF series, however.

  • ニース作品 :-)
