Title track of the 1977 Cannan Records release. Probably the slickest and most elaborate production value of any Inspirations album period.

In 1977 The Inspirations were:

Archie Watkins (Tennor)
Troy Burns (Lead)
Eddie Deitz (Baritone)
Mike Holcomb (Bass)
Martin Cook (Piano)
Roger Fortner (Guitars)
Dale Jones (Steel Guitar)
Jack Laws (Upright Bass)

  • awesome! Thanks for posting!!

  • What do you use to make your videos?

I used Windows Movie Maker and, as you can hear, it hammered the sound quality.

  • My favorite Inspirations album of all time, hands down!

  • One of my favorite Inspirations albums from this era. I hope you can post more songs from this classic album. Thanks so much!

  • this is a wonderful song, the choir used to sing it at my church, now they have moved to newer songs. i love this old song.

  • Out of ALL the recordings the Inspirations have made, this album is my favorite!!! Every song is GREAT!!!!

  • I SURE ENJOY THESE GREAT SONGS.

  • can someone poste the lyrics of this beautiful song please.your sister in christ

  • My brother and I have been big fans of the Insspirations for years. I remember cutting our teeth on the old 8 track tapes and then the cassettes. I remember going to hear them in concert and we purchased this tape we nearly wore it out and then I lent it to somebody, like an idiot, and haven't seen it since. I have called the Inspirations about getting a copy and they said they don't sell them any more. It is ashame they don't put it out on cd

  • Love the song and I'm a huge fan of Mike Holcomb. (being a bass singer)

  • same thing, Windows Movie Maker.

I think the live recordings sound a bit fast and high...
