Awesome. No orchestra on the planet can play sweeter music than the Mighty Merlin Quartet! Nothing else like it! Bravo Canada! Keep the Mynarski Lanc flying and keep this beauty in taxiable condition. Fitting tribute to the 10,000 brave Canucks who died in Bomber Command. RESPECT to Britain's finest ally!

they should make it air worthy,

Will she ever fly again? It be great to see a third Lancaster in the air from Canada.

@LetsGoFly247 it is down to the engine configuration and oil distribution, the Merlin is a V-block engine rather than a radial so there is no need to crank the engine over for a full cycle to avoid oil build up in some cylinders/starvation in others. I am biased and I know it, but a Merlin on song moves me like no other engine note!

yes that's it.thanks.

Wow, surprised at how easily the engine started, it didn't take several rotations of the props like on the b-25. very nice

Excellent video! the best one of FM159 loaded on youtube to date. I had the pleasure of meeting your Uncle while working on the Lancaster back in the 1990's, a true gentleman and a fitting tribute to him with a Lancastere engine run!
No.....to best of my knowledge they are getting engines and other aspects of her working but not airworthy. As nice as that would be I don't believe it's in their plans. thanks for the comment
