color lens wise,

the best way is to get the daily ones where you wear one and throw it out that day and the next day you have a new set. the ones that people usually get says it lasts "1yr" but to be honest, that's really bad for your eyes. if you already bought one of those, i suggest you refill them with fresh solution every day.

normal contacts wise,

there are 2 week ones that could last a month and daily ones that could last couple days

and the ones i mentioned above are soft lens
